Information
- Please don’t forget that registration for Kindergarten closes March 31, but the sooner the better as far as our planning goes. This deadline also applies to all other grades registering to change schools, so if you have moved house and are looking to register in a new school next year, you must register by March 31 to be assured of a spot there. Of course, why would you want to leave a great place like WLE?
- Please read this important letter from Superintendent Gord Stewart regarding celebrating diversity in Langley.
- Don’t forget to . Registration will close at 9:00 Monday morning.

Quote of the Week
Interesting Reading & Viewing
- A Stanford Dean stirred up some hostile comments by suggesting these adult skills every 18-year old should have before ‘entering’ the real world. Lots of them that we set the foundations for, or even teach. Of course, millenials have taken offense, and Gen-X-ers have forgotten that they were once the ‘lost ones’ who would never make it. Regardless of whether we’re offended by the age-ism in some of the comments, there are skills listed here that I’m sure glad I have some of them now.
- Do computers impact how we think? Remember? Learn? Here’s an article on How Google has affected the way students learn.
- Users fear social media is harming them, and they still can’t stop! Don’t know that this is all convincing, but it certainly got my attention.
