Kindergarten Registration 2023
Kindergarten/New Student Registration for the 2023/2024 School Year opens January 16th, 2023 and closes March 31st,, 2023. We are excited to welcome our new Kindergarten students. If your child will be five years old by December 31, 2023, you are eligible to register through your catchment school. Catchment Locator
To register you will need to do the following:
- Complete Registration Form and have documents ready. (see checklist below)
- Submit documents online by email to Mrs. Rinke (nrinke@sd35.bc.ca)
Please submit documents as attachments not images inserted into the body of the email. Registration may be delayed if the required documentation is not provided. If you need to register in person please come to the office between 8:30am and 3:30pm. Make sure you bring all required documents with you. - Once your child’s information has been received, you will receive a confirmation from the school.
You will need to produce the following documents:
- Completed Registration Form (Kindergarten Registration Form OR Grade 1-7 Registration Form)
- Proof of Child’s age (Birth Certificate, Certificate of citizenship (both sides), court order, Immigration Canada documents, passport, Secure Certificate of Indian Status (SCIS), also known as Status Card)
- Proof of Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Resident status for both parent and student (Canadian Birth Certificate, Canadian Passport, Canadian Citizenship Card, Permanent Resident Card) If your child is not a citizen or permanent resident of Canada, please contact the International Students Program at 604.534.7891
- Proof of Residency (Mortgage papers, Property Tax, BC Driver’s License, BC Services Card, Utility Bill, Subject-free Purchase Agreement [less than 6 month move-in date])
- Current vaccination records
- Self-Identification of Aboriginal Ancestry Form (if applicable) Self-Identification of Aboriginal Ancestry Form
