Information
- The last Grade 7 Camp fundraiser is a movie afternoon this Friday from 1:30-3:15. Admission is $5, including the movie, snack and drink. Extra refreshments will be available at extra cost. Movie choice is Despicable Me.
- The BC School Satisfaction Survey is open until April 15. Please take a few minutes to share your views about our school and direction. The results of this survey are useful for us in educational and strategic planning. It is aimed particularly at the parents of grade 4 and 7 (and 10 and 12) students each year, but all are welcome to fill it in. No access codes are required this year; you need only follow the link and navigate your way to our school.
- The District Calendars for the next three years have been approved by the school board.
- Here is a trio of upcoming events that might be of interest, too:

PAC Information
We have a PAC Meeting this Tuesday at 6pm in the library. We’re starting the quest for new executive nominees in time for next month’s AGM (and elections). Free childminding will be available.

Interesting Reading & Viewing
- So parts of this really resonated with me, and parts made me stop dead and say ‘What?!?’ I’m not so sure about scary stories, but deliberate strategies for anger management are right on. Can Inuit Moms Help Me Tame My 3-Year-Old’s Anger?
- Have you been watching any basketball? There have been some good games. This bit, though, out of the Women’s tournament might be the best thing I’ve seen from the whole of the NCAA. Notre Dame women’s coach, Muffet McGraw was asked about gender equality and her role as a female head coach, and wow, did she ever answer! Everyone should read or watch what she had to say.
- I loved reading about this student at RC Garnett’s speech this year. I Am Me: A Lesson on Inclusivity at R.C. Garnett’s Speech Fest. Celebrate people for who they are.
